Our Staff
Dr. Whitney Hodes
Veterinarian
Dr. Whitney Hodes is a St. Louis native and a graduate of the University Of Missouri College Of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing small animal medicine in the Kansas City and St. Louis area for several years.
Dr. Hodes’ professional interests include preventative care, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine with ultrasound. She is a member of the Missouri and St. Louis Veterinary Medical Associations.
She shares her home with her husband, three small children, a dog, Honey Bear, and a cat, Frankenstein. When not chasing her kiddos around, Dr. Hodes enjoys running, gardening, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
Dr. Sarah Zufall
Veterinarian
Dr. Zufall has been a longtime friend of Dr. Hodes, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome her! She graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and is a member of AVMA and MVMA and brings nine years of emergency veterinary experience. Her interests include ultrasonography, internal medicine, and emergency medicine; she enjoys home projects, brunch, and spending time with her husband, 2 children, 2 dogs, and kitty.
Jim Grady
Practice Manager
Jim has been at County since 2005. He has 2 dogs (Tesla and Walter) and 4 cats (Frankie, Hotdog, Newt, and Meatball). He has been married to his wife Katie who he met at County since 2012. Together they have two children, Claire(10) and Harrison(5).
Outside of County, Jim enjoys spending time with his family, camping, hiking, and beekeeping, and watching the Blues and Cardinals.
Megan Tracy
Receptionist
Hi, I’m Megan. I’ve been working in the animal field for 18 years. I started as a kennel assistant. I’ve done vet assistant work and now I’m a receptionist. In 2012 I received my Veterinary Assistant Certificate at Jefferson Community College. I grew up with golden retrievers and I got my first one in December 2023. I enjoy cooking and baking. I’m also a huge St. Louis Blues fan
Alex Knoles
Receptionist
Hey, I’m Alexandria! I’ve been in vet med as a receptionist for 3 years now. My passion for animals came at a really early age- I grew up on a farm with all kinds of critters! I actually got my start here at CAH and it’s where I got 2 of my 4 kitties. Outside of animal care- I enjoy photography, hiking, and rollerblading.
Tierney Richardson
RVT
Hi I’m Tierney! I’ve been at County since 2017 and in the field for 8 years previously working in emergency. I enjoy spending my free time with my son Knox, my dogs Hazel, Tang, Kion, and cat Zuzu. I also enjoying reading and crafty whenever I get the time!
Molly Hays
Technician
A St Louis native, Molly has been a vet tech since 2013 and has been at County Animal Hospital since 2017. She enjoys spending time with her husband, and her dog Bear. When she is not taking care of animals, Molly enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews and the occasional brewery patio.
Stacy Flaningam
RVT
I’ve been an RVT with CAH since March of 2021. I have been in the field for 15 years. I have 4 dogs and 2 cat of my own. I’m a mom to 2 wonderful kids. In my free time I enjoy being on the water, catching a live band, or checking out the local breweries in St. Louis.
Annie Lang
Technician
My name is Annie Christmas Lang! I feel like every day is my Birthday! I started off as a groomer in 2010, but have been in the vet field since 2014, and been at County Animal Hospital for 4 years now. I enjoy being with my family and karaoke. I love my CAH family very much and wouldn’t change it for the world.
Gwendolyn Reeder
Veterinary Assistant
Hi I’m Gwen, I’ve worked at County since 2018 and am currently a college student. I love working with animals, but my favorite appointments are always the golden doodles. I actually have two of my own, Archie and Lulu. In my free time I love going to Blues games and spending time with my family.
