Dr. Whitney Hodes
Dr. Whitney Hodes is a St. Louis native and a graduate of the University Of Missouri College Of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing small animal medicine in the Kansas City and St. Louis area for several years.
Dr. Hodes’ professional interests include preventative care, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine with ultrasound. She is a member of the Missouri and St. Louis Veterinary Medical Associations.
She shares her home with her husband, three small children, a dog, Honey Bear, and a cat, Frankenstein. When not chasing her kiddos around, Dr. Hodes enjoys running, gardening, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
Jim has been at County since 2005. He has 2 dogs (Tesla and Walter) and 3 cats (Frankie, Hotdog, and Newt). He has been married to his wife Katie who he met at County for 10 years. Together they have two children, Claire(8) and Harrison(3).
Outside of County, Jim enjoys spending time with his family, camping, hiking, and beekeeping, and watching the Blues and Cardinals.
Brittney comes to us with five years of experience as a Certified Professional Groomer.
Besides making your dog or cat look amazing, Brittney is a true animal lover and will work with your pet, particularly elderly and nervous dogs, to make their grooming experience a positive one.
She happily puts in the time to gain your pets trust and works hard to minimize any fear or anxiety they may feel about being groomed. Brittney also understands the value of educating clients on breed specific grooms and will answer any questions you have.
Outside of grooming Brittney is also a dog trainer, currently working on several specializations. She is a proud dog mom of two fur babies Milo and Wrangler. Jeep Wranglers are her life. Brittney loves to be outdoors, traveling and working out.
One fun fact about Brittney is that she has hiked in every state in the contiguous United States!
Hi, I’m Megan. I’ve been working in the animal field for 17 years. I started as a kennel assistant. I’ve done vet assistant work and now I’ve been a receptionist for 7 years. In 2012 I received my Veterinary Assistant Certificate at Jefferson Community College. I grew up with golden retrievers. 6 years ago, I rescued a havanese that’s a tripod. His name is Timmy. I Enjoy cooking and baking. I’m also a huge St. Louis Blues fan.
Hey, I’m Alexandria! I’ve been in vet med as a receptionist for 3 years now. My passion for animals came at a really early age- I grew up on a farm with all kinds of critters! I actually got my start here at CAH and it’s where I got 2 of my 4 kitties. Outside of animal care- I enjoy photography, hiking, and rollerblading.
Hi I’m Tierney! I’ve been at County since 2017 and in the field for 8 years previously working in emergency. I enjoy spending my free time with my son Knox, my dogs Hazel and Tang and cat Zuzu. I also enjoying reading and crafty whenever I get the time!
A St Louis native, Molly has been a vet tech since 2013 and has been at County Animal Hospital since 2017. She enjoys spending time with her husband, her dog Bear and her cat Oliver. When she is not taking care of animals, Molly enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews and the occasional brewery patio.
I’ve been an RVT with CAH since March of 2021. I have been in the field for 15 years. I have 4 dogs and 1 cat of my own. I’m a mom to 2 wonderful kids. In my free time I enjoy being on the water, catching a live band, or checking out the local breweries in St. Louis.
My name is Annie Christmas Lang! I feel like every day is my Birthday! I started off as a groomer in 2010, but have been in the vet field since 2014, and been at County Animal Hospital for 4 years now. I enjoy being with my family and karaoke. I love my CAH family very much and wouldn’t change it for the world.
Hi I’m Gwen, I’ve worked at County since 2018 and am currently a college student. I love working with animals, but my favorite appointments are always the golden doodles. I actually have two of my own, Archie and Lulu. In my free time I love going to Blues games and spending time with my family.
